The first semifinal of the European Championship Juniors Under 21, play today at 19:00, between Portugal and Germany.

- Portugal U21 finished 1st in group B, recording a win and two draws in three group matches. The Portuguese began with victory against England 1-0, but afterwards remises Italy U21 and Sweden U21.

- On the other side, Germany U21 took 2nd place in Group A with 5 points accumulated in three matches. In the first match of the group, Germany drew with Sweden 1-1. The only victory of Germany was successful in the game with Denmark 3-0. In the last match, Germany drew with the host of the tournament, Czech Republic, 1-1.

So far there have been three direct confrontations between Portugal U21 and Germany U21 and all parties were won by Portugal. In two of those matches marked both teams.
