The second match in the semi-finals play-off for promotion to the Primera Division, plays tonight at 19:00, between Zaragoza and Girona.

Zaragoza won with luck the qualification play-off for promotion, finishing on the 6th place in the Segunda Division, with 61 points, one point more than 7th and 8th place two more than last stage, Zaragoza finished in a 2-2 draw game against Leganes and took advantage of the fact that theur direct opponent, Ponferradina, didn't won the match against Alcorcon.

On the other side, Zaragoza missed at the limit the direct promotion in Primera Divsion, they have end on equal points, 82, with the 2nd place occupied by Gijon, who had a better goal difference. In the last stage, Girona tripped at home, in the match played with Lugo, finished tied 1-1, and if tonight's guests could won that match they were already promoted Spanish first football league.

In the two direct confrontations this season both teams have scored. The tour game, Zaragoza won 2-1 at home, while the return match ended in a 1-1 draw.
