Saturday, at 12:30, Manchester City moves to Molineux in Wolverhampton in the 3rd Premier League. “Citizens” showed great in this season start, while Nuno Espirito Santo’s “wolves” have a point after the matches with Everton (2-2) and Leicester (0-2). Most likely, we will see a limit win for the guests.
It’s an atypical duel for Manchester City, due to a talented band and technical players. Usually, the Premier League bands appear crowded in front of Pep Guardiola’s guys, but Wolves is not a band to deny the game. Nuno Espirito Santo encourages a system based on possession and movement of the ball, and Wolverhampton offered beautiful soccer picks in the first two stages. It should be noted, however, that City has scored at least two goals in 14 of the 19 away games last season, and defending hosts is far from impenetrable.
Wolverhampton showed some weaknesses on the central axis in the first rounds, winning 4 goals so far, and City’s football car will punish any errors committed Saturday. Guardiola has all the figures on his side and Sergio Aguero is on a big day, as Huddersfield (6-1, hattrick) showed last round. But there are some batch problems for “citizens” who do not have Bravo, Danilo, De Bruyne and Mangala. It must be said, however, that Guardiola’s team is valuable enough to provide good replacement solutions for the positions. In the field, the value of the Etihad stars should make a difference, in front of a band that defends only 3 defenders.
