WEST HAM VS BURNLEY PREVIEW & PREDICTION

In London, the game between West Ham United and Burnley is scheduled for Saturday afternoon. West Ham United has only three points ahead of the dreaded relegation streak, but may be able to increase that lead if the defense Burnley of manager Sean Dyche comes to visit.

West Ham United:

West Ham United is far from safe and the Hammers realize that too well. The men of David Moyes knew a cycle around the turn of the year in which a lot of points were caught in the Premier League, but lately it is not so good at The Hammers. Exactly one month ago, West Ham United won 2-0 vs. Watford at the London Stadium, but West Ham United did not add any points to three of the last four games. Due to the bad results, the gap on the relegation stripe is only three points and if there is not a quick turnaround in results at West Ham United, they should still fear the relegation battle at The Hammers.

Swansea City is a competitor of West Ham United and last week The Hammers lost a visit to Swansea. In Wales, they watched West Ham United after more than an hour of playing football against a 4-0 deficit and The Hammers eventually went 4-1 down to Swansea because Michail Antonio managed to score a goal on behalf of West twelve minutes before time Ham United. The Hammers went all-out with a 4-1 score in Wales, but that they had to cash in many goals at West Ham United will not have arrived as a surprise. The club from London has already cashed 37 hits in away games this season and no other team from the Premier League had to take more goals in away games.

After a 4-1 loss at Liverpool and also a 4-1 defeat against Swansea City, West Ham United goalkeeper Adrián will be nice if he can keep his goal clean this weekend. However, the Spanish goalkeeper, together with Stoke City goalkeeper Jack Butland, has had to score the most goals this season in the competition and the problem at West Ham United is also that the defense is as leaky as a basket lately. The Hammers, however, have been unbeaten in their own London Stadium for four matches in a row and that is what West Ham United has to do for a bit of confidence.

Burnley:

With a seventh place in the ranking, Burnley is doing well above expectations this season. The Clarets do not play the most attractive football in the Premier League, but the way Sean Dyche and his team have been playing has been very effective all season. Burnley plays the football they were accustomed to in England for years and despite the fact that the game is not always attractive, the performance is excellent. The Clarets have been in the rankings for several weeks behind the top teams in England and at Burnley they will sign up to be in seventh place in the Premier League after 38 games.

Last week they had the Everton from Sam Allardyce with Burnley. The difference between both teams in the ranking was three points in favor of The Clarets and Burnley succeeded last Saturday to increase the difference to six points. The Clarets were in the twentieth minute still a 0-1 deficit, but after half an hour of playing, Burnley took over and The Clarets managed to find the net twice against Everton. Ashley Barnes was responsible for the equalizer eleven minutes after the break and the winning goal was Chris Wood ten minutes before time.

Because of the victory over Everton, they have already scored the points record of the club from the Premier League after 29 games. The Clarets have to play nine games in the Premier League this season and are going to break that record, which was set last season by Burnley. By the way, Dyche was against Everton for the 250th time on the bench at The Clarets and of course this weekend there will be another duel. The Burnley manager, however, has to miss five football players on a visit to West Ham United, but those five players have been out for a while longer with injuries.

PREDICTION: Both teams to score / YES @ 2.10
