Werder Bremen vs Stuttgart PREVIEW & PREDICTION 22/02/2019

On Friday, starting at 19:30, the Bremen – Stuttgart match will be held in the 23rd round of the Bundesliga, the 2018-2019 edition.

Stuttgart has not defeated Werder Bremen in the 2006-2007 season, but the “Swabians” have won the tour with a score of 2-1.

The “White-Green” have lost only 3 matches on the Weserstadion this season, with Bayern, Leverkusen and Monchengladbach, all the many goals scored. Werder Bremen has a well-balanced home-away score, managing 16 and 15 points so far. The formation prepared by Florian Kohfeldt drew the last round with Hertha Berlin, score 1-1, and Claudio Pizarro became the oldest Bundesliga marker for 40 years and 136 days, breaking the record set by Miroslav Votava in 1996 .

Stuttgart is the “beneficiary” of the weakest defensive in the German championship with 50 goals scored. The “Swabians” also lost the last games played, 0-3 away with Dusseldorf and 1-3 on their own, with RB Leipzig. Markus Weinzierl’s team remains with 15 points this season, 3 away from Augsburg, the first group above the relegation line. Stuttgart won a single duel played outside its own arena, score 2-0 with Nurnberg in November.

Argentinean Nicolas Gonzalez, the striker of the tournament, beats his suspension after the red card with Dusseldorf and the veteran from the home attack Martin Harnik is still injured. These absences will not make much of a situation in the field, Bremen having enough quality to cause damage to the “Swabians” defensive.
