Wehen vs Sandhausen PREVIEW & PREDICTION 26/05/2020

On Tuesday, May 26, Wehen and Sandhausen duel in the 28th round of the German second league, on BRITA-Arena in Wiesbaden. It will be played without spectators and the match has serious implications in the relegation zone, where both teams are looking to avoid “dribbling”. The hosts are on the 16th and the guests on the 14th.

It is a very balanced duel, between teams that missed the victory in the previous round. Sandhausen is on the 14th place (goal difference 31-36), being the record holder of the draws this season of Zweite. Wehen is on the 16th place (goal average 33-45), two points behind the black and whites. Last round, Wehen lost to Heidenheim (0-1), and Sandhausen drew at home to Regensburg (0-0).

Sandhausen slipped to the bottom of the hierarchy after a series of 8 games out of eight consecutive games without a win (only three draws accumulated). Sandhausen’s possession and construction game suffers, while Wehen impressed in last week’s 2-1 victory over Stuttgart. Even before the suspension of the competitions, Wehen beat Osnabruck 6-2 “outside”.

In the tour it was 0-0 at Sandhausen, after a tactical match – the third white draw in the last four direct duels! In fact, the “GG” bet was the only one winner in the last 6 meetings of these teams, which makes us think again of a close match. Physical wear and tear will speak for itself and we will not see a match with many clear goal opportunities.

PREDICTION: Both teams to score / YES @ 1,60
