Tuesday, at 19:30, Spartak Trnava will receive the Serbian Red Belgrade visit to Belgrade in a match for the second leg of the UEFA Champions League’s third preliminary round. The game will take place at the “City Arena Trnava” stadium in Trnava.

The en-titre champion of Slovakia has a more European adventure than the honorable one so far. Kicking directly from a difficult opponent in the previous round, Trnava produced one of the surprises of the UEFA Champions League preliminaries, eliminating Legia Warsaw after a decisive 2-0 on the tour, even in Poland.
Evolving in front of another caliber adversary, in front of which bookmakers did not give them any chance in the tournament, Trnava once “committed” once and pulled a gold draw on the Red Star Belgrade field, 1-1, maintaining they are in play-off qualifying cards. This time, the problem data does not change, at least on paper, at least from bookmakers’ perspective. The Serbs remain qualified to qualify and even to impose on the “City Arena Trnava”, which obliges the hosts to demonstrate again that everything that has happened so far in this European season start was not accidental.
Given the circumstances of this game, we expect a balanced deployment of hostilities. Seeing Spartak Trnava so well organized in European matches this season, we think we will witness a balanced match and not one in which the game runs in one direction, the one of the hosts’ gates. In fact, we can not exclude a scenario of the need for additional extra rounds to decide the qualified team further.
Taking advantage of his own terrain, outsider status and a well-organized group of players, Trnava could still make an important victory in the UCL preliminaries.
