Torino vs Sampdoria PREVIEW & PREDICTION 03/04/2019

Wednesday, at 20:00, FC Torino will receive the Sampdoria visit in a match for the 30th Serie A. The match will take place on Stadio Olimpico in Turin.

FC Torino and Sampdoria are two of the bands that have surprisingly enjoyed this Serie A season so far but have had the bad luck to catch a terrible battle for European seats. In a season where Juventus and Nap3-5-2oli can not be dismantled from the top two, Inter, AC Milan, Lazio, Atalanta and Rome are fighting together for the remaining European seats, it is difficult and frustrating for Turin and / or Sampdoria to sit between the ranks, although their results are good and the game binds.

After all, the distance from TOP 6 is not a big one, three points at the moment, and this is a good enough reason to consider the torino duel on Wednesday night a crucial one. Given that a draw would keep both combatants on the ground, a success of either of them would, imminently, cause a considerable handicap for the other in the fight for the final UEL.

In the last ten direct confrontations between the two bands, Turin was forced three times, Sampdoria three more times, while the other four duels ended in a draw;

The previous four straight games ended with goals on both sides;

The last straight game took place in the tour, “Luigi Ferraris”, when Torino made a definite 4-1;

Probable teams:

FC Torino (3-5-2): Sirigu – Izzo, N’Koulou, Moretti – De Silvestri, Rincon, Baselli, Djidji, Ansaldi – Zaza, Belotti

Sampdoria (4-3-1-2): Audero – Bereszynski, Andersen, Colley, Murru – Jankto, Praet, Linetty – Saponara – Quagliarella, Defrel

Given the circumstances of this game, we expect a spectacular hostile run. It is clear that, by taking a look at the Serie A hierarchy, we find that none of the two combatants is pleased with a tie and both will play to victory. In the perspective of this scenario, we think we will see at least two goals in this dispute and, why not, maybe a goal scorer on both sides.

PREDICTION: Under 2,5 goals @ 1,68
