Sparta Prague and FK Teplice meet in a match from the 27th round of the Czech first league. The match will be played on Wednesday, at 19:00, on Generali Ceska pojistovna Arena.
The team to which Florin Nita is entitled started with the right to resume the championship in the Czech Republic. After being led to the break with the score of 0-1, Sparta returned and won with the score of 4-1 away from Karvina (13th place), the match in which the former goalkeeper from Steaua Bucharest was a reserve. That success interrupted the band’s six-stage winless streak.
Teplice was not as inspired to return. Stanislav Hejkal’s team obtained only one point in the match played at home with the penultimate ranked team from the Czech Republic, Opava, the match ended with the score of 2-2. It was the draw with the number 10 that the people from Teplice register in the current season.
Currently, the team prepared by Vaclav Jilek occupies the 6th place, the last one that leads in the playoff for the title. This place is an extremely disputed one, no less than six bands being in this fight. For this reason, Sparta does not allow itself to take wrong steps, especially when it evolves on its own field, in front of a team that is struggling to get out of the area that leads to the playoffs for relegation.
The hosts in this game do not do remarkably well when they play on their own field, with a record of six wins, three draws and four defeats. Even so, they have a more than accessible opponent. Teplice has one of the weakest offenses when playing away, with 8 goals scored in 13 games. We rely on the victory of the hosts, but also on at least two goals scored by Sparta.
-FK Teplice is undefeated in the last three direct duels with Sparta, concluded in regular time (a victory, a draw and a failure suffered in the tiebreaks);
-Sparta have won six of the last seven live matches in Prague;
-Guelor Kanga (Sparta Prague) is the best scorer in the Czech Republic, with 10 successes, tied with 3 other players;
PREDICTION: Both teams to score / NO @ 1,52
