Spal vs Torino PREVIEW & PREDICTION 03/02/2019

On Sunday, at 11:30 AM, SPAL will receive FC Torino’s visit in a match for the 22nd Serie A. The game will take place at the Ferrara “Paolo Mazza” stadium.

With five consecutive draws in the last five matches played on our own ground, we can say that SPAL was not very effective, especially when we find that all five equality results were recorded in front of modest bands in the lower half of the hierarchy, the majority counter-candidate to relegation. Turin, on the other hand, saw for the first time the taste of defeat on a foreign field, in a 2-3 on the “Olimpico” in Rome against Di Giovanorossi di Francesco. In fact, Turin does not like to lose away from home, and although they are quoted with Ferrara’s first chance in the Sunday race, this duel tends to look more complicated than seems at first glance, at least for bettors.

Three direct confrontations took place between the two bands: Turin was forced into two of them, while the other ended in a tie;

The only direct match between the two teams played at Ferrara took place in the last season’s Serie A tournament and ended with a score of 2-2;

The previous direct duel, the one on the tour, portrayed Torino as the winner, score 1-0;

Probable teams:

SPAL (3-5-2): Viviano-Cionek, Felipe, Bonifazi- Lazzari, Missiroli, Valdifiori, Kurtic, Fares- Paloschi, Antencucci

FC Torino (3-5-2): Sirigu- Izzo, N’Koulou, Moretti- De Silvestri, Meite, Rincon, Ansaldi, Aina- Zaza, Belotti

Given the circumstances of this game, we were expecting a closed run of hostilities. Since SPAL has not been too generous offensive recently in front of its fans, with just one goal in three games, we have no great expectations from Turin to easily unleash an atypical team who is good at destroy the opponent’s attack plan.
