A 2-0 victory over Rotherham United kept Sheffield United (third, 68 points) in the search for promotions in the English Championship, before their match against the Brentford center table (12, 49 points). The Blades have won 2-0 against Rotherham United on Saturday, giving them their fifth consecutive win and an eight-game unbeaten streak in the Championship. With 61 goals, United remains the third with the best score of the season, while his defense with only 34 goals has been the second best in the division.
They are the best local team in the Championship, tied at 39 points at the top of the house count, they have won their last seven home games. Brentford defeated Middlesbrough 2-1 on Saturday, making seven wins in his last nine games. The Bees are six points away from the top six and with a game in play over their other playoff competitors, they have an outside chance. Brentford, however, has not enjoyed being on the road as his 13-point count indicates (the fifth lowest set).
Sheffield United continues its pursuit of the first two and now they are two points behind Leeds United in second place. There is a comfortable space with the chase pack, which leaves the Blades in a pretty good place for the playoff qualification. United have also been in an impressive form of home, which could be too much for Brentford, although they have picked up their visitor form in recent games. We are going for the local victory.
PREDICTION: Sheffield Utd to win @ 1,95
