At the “Electrica” stadium in Timişoara, Ripensia will receive the visit of the Sepsi OSK Sf. Gheorghe in a match counting for the 16 finals of the Romanian Cup.
The Banatians reached this stage of the competition after they were able to win one by one the teams from the lower echelons Lupac, score 4-0 and Ghiroda, score 3-1.
In the Second League, Ripensia is in a modest 15 place with only 8 points, and in the last round they gave up Constanța to the limit with 1-9 in front of the Lighthouse.
On the other side Sepsi OSK Sf. Gheorghe managed to break the ice on his own ground in Liga 1, managing to get the first victory after a break of nine months on his own ground, imposing himself at the non-presentation score, score 3-0 in front of those FC Hermannstadt. After 10 rounds in Liga 1, Sepsi is 7th with 13 points and the next round will play away to Botoșani with Sepsi.
