Portugal vs Serbia PREVIEW & PREDICTION 25/03/2019

Monday, at 19:45, Portugal will receive the visit of Serbia‘s representative in a match for the 2nd round of the European Championship preliminaries. The match will take place on “Estadio da Luz” in Lisbon.

Although it dominated the hostilities and, as the game showed, perhaps it would have been entitled to conquer all three points in the game against Ukraine, Portugal did not. The Lusitans stagnated on “Estadio da Luz”, being kept in chess by the atypical team coached by Andriy Shevchenko. Of course, this is not a tragedy. In a group B in which the only opponents that are relevant to the Portuguese are Ukraine and Serbia, this draw is hardly to bother them. Instead, Monday evening, on the same “Estadio da Luz”, is at least as complicated for Portugal. Romania’s former opponent, selected in Serbia, comes after an honorable result in the friendly match played five days ago in Wolfsburg, against Germany (1-1), and is about to start in this qualifying campaign at least as well as the Ukrainians did it.

Given the circumstances of this game, we expect a spectacular hostile run. Without focusing on the number of goals in this game, we think we will see a number of phases of the gate, dangerous attacks, and much of this will result in a considerable number of corner kicks on both sides .
