On Sunday at 16:00 pm at the “Municipal” stadium in Botosani there will be a duel in the ninth round of League 1 between Poli Iasi and FC Hermannstadt.
This will be the first duel considered on its own ground in a series of four that Mihai Teja’s students will support in Botosani, the arena in Iași being subjected to a modernization process.
The Iasi people are in shape after the start of the championship, conquering only one point out of the last six possible conditions, as they led both Chindia and Gaz Metan Mediaș with a score of 2-0, ending indecisively the duel with the Târgoviesti in Copou and giving in to Mediaș by 3-2.
With 15 points accumulated, Poli Iași is in 5th place while FC Hermannstadt is in 10th place with 9 points. It should be noted that all three victories of Costel Enache’s team were obtained on their own ground with the same score 2-1 in front of the teams Chindia Târgoviște, Academica Clinceni and Universiitatea Craiova.
All four straight duels between the two teams in the first league were balanced and with few goals, in no match not scoring more than two goals. Hermannstadt has two wins, Iasi one while a match ended indecisively.
