PSG and St Etienne meet in the French Cup final. The match will be played on Friday, at 20:10, on the Stade de France, without spectators.
Even if they have not played an official match since March, PSG showed that they did not get out of hand. Thomas Tuchel’s team comes after two categorical victories, 9-0 with Le Havre and 7-0 with Waasland-Beveren, both being friendly matches. On the other hand, St. Etienne has been much more active in recent weeks, playing no less than five friendly matches, three of which have been won.
In the recently concluded season, St. Etienne is fighting to avoid relegation. Claude Puel’s students had seven points over the teams in the relegation zone, being unsuccessful in the last seven stages. We expect that the desire for goals shown by PSG in friendly matches will be present in the French Cup final. We are counting on the victory of the band from Paris, but also on at least three changes of the table. We also expect Neymar to take into account at least one success.
