On Wednesday, starting with 20:00, the match Napoli – Juventus will be played, within the Italian Cup Final.
As you well know, Italian football has returned with the “ace square” in the Cup. On the one hand, in the first semifinal, Juventus drew with AC Milan, eliminating the “white-reds” thanks to the performance on the tour of the “San Siro” (1-1). On the other hand, in the other semifinal, Napoli “left at home” Inter after 1-1 on “San Paulo”, a draw that was enough due to the victory recorded in the tour on “Giussepe Meazza” (1-0).
Certainly, neither Napoli nor Juventus showed a spectacular game in the return of the semifinals. This can have several causes – from the lack of standing matches to the psychological impact of the pandemic on players. However, in the grand final there is no excuse and each team will have to present a football at the highest level in order to be able to make claims.
Watching the first matches of the two teams, with Inter and AC Milan respectively, I could not draw an important series of conclusions. The cautious game was at a high level, the gaps missing for the most part. Therefore, in the perspective of preparing the best predictions for the final that will take place on “Olimpico” in Rome, we will take into account the performance of the two fighters throughout this season, but also the difference in value between their players.
