Millwall vs Nottingham PREVIEW & PREDICTION 29/12/2018

Millwall booked a vital win against Boxing Day’s direct competitor Reading. Nottingham Forest also seemed to be victorious on a visit to Norwich City, but in injury time it was just a little different, so there was only one point left in that game. Will Millwall take the second home win in a row or will Nottingham Forest take the win? A look ahead!

Millwall:

Millwall recorded an important victory in the home game against Reading last Wednesday. 1-0 was won, making Millwall now twentieth. For the time being it is two places above the line but the difference with Bolton Wanderers is now only one point. Millwall had a dream start last Wednesday when Jed Wallace led the home team after just eight minutes.

After this, during the remainder of the match it was not in a position to profit from a numerical majority. Reading player Tyler Blackett received a minute after the opening goal, but the better chances were for Reading in the remainder of the game. Millwall even had to pull the emergency brake a number of times and thus cashed in three yellow cards. When Dutchman Leandro Bacuna also got red two minutes before time, the game was decided.

Nottingham Forest:

It seemed like a great afternoon for Nottingham Forest when visiting Norwich City. Immediately, Matty Cash took his team ahead. When Jack Robinson and the same Matty Cash gave 0-2 and 0-3 respectively after the break, nothing seemed to stand in the way of a surprise, but then a scenario was played that Alfred Hitchcock himself could not have imagined.

First there was Mario Vrancic who seemed to take the lead on behalf of Norwich City but substitute Onel Hernandez gave the game a completely different dimension. First he was responsible for the tie in the ninety-fourth minute and when the last minute of eight minutes of injury time arrived Hernandez signed for the 3-3 after another assist from defender Ben Godfrey.
