Mexico vs Chile PREVIEW & PREDICTION 17/10/2018

On October 17, at 02:45, Mexico meets Chile on its own at Queretaro in a friendly match that usually produces much show and goals. The Mexicans have just finished a series of four consecutive defeats after defeating Costa Rica (3-2) last Thursday. The atmosphere will be very warm on the stadium, and the hosts will have an initiative in front of a defensive adversary.

In the last 7 matches played against opponents in South America, Mexico has 3 wins, a draw and three failures. Between these seven games, there were two matches with Chile, ending with diametrically opposed results: a 1-0 victory and a raucous failure, score 0-7! On the other hand, the Chileans did not look great lately and come after a 0-3 failure in front of Peru. In the last 5 games, Chile has only one victory, which does not provide much confidence before the game against Mexico. The White-Reds have received 8 goals in the last 5 games and have shown their limits even against Romania (2-3), a much less dangerous rival than Mexican.

Both teams come with the best players!

Both bands come with the best bets at Queretaro and we will see players who are very capable in offensive like Hirving Lozano (PSV) and Alexis Sanchez (Manchester United), as Jose Mourinho’s star did not take part in Peru, since last week. In the last 5 friendly games between the two bands, the Aztecs have won 3 times, a match has ended and the other game has been played by Chile with that historian 7-0 mentioned above. Obviously, the Mexicans want to forget the memory of that match and have players in shape to their club teams that can make a difference.

In the last 10 direct games between the two nations we saw goals from both sides in 6 disputes, and each time we scored at least three goals in those matches. An interesting statistical review shows us that Chile received the first goal in 8 of the last 10 games, which makes it vulnerable to a well-established white-green mechanism. Mexico has impressed the World Cup and has the first chance of winning if it evolves to the full potential with a good pass! The Mexican attack went well in the game with Costa Rica, where Guzman, Matin and Jimenez scored the victory goals after the guests led with 1-0 and 2-1.

PREDICTION: Under 2.5 goals @ 1.72
