Metaloglobus – “U” Cluj will take place on Sunday at 10:00 the match counting for the 5th round of the Second League.
Metaloglobus is one of the pleasant surprises of this edition of the Second League. The Herea brothers’ team accumulated five points after the first four rounds, but having a less disputed match (n.r. the duel in the first stage with Pandurii has not been clarified yet, the Gorj team then having problems with COVID-19 infections).
Bucharest kept in check at Turnu Măguele, Turris Oltul, score 2-2, in a match in which they played with a man less from the 19th minute in which he returned from 0-2, ticked a spectacular 1-1 with Chiajna on their own field, after which they won 1-0 in Mioveni. Basically, the five points of the Bucharest team were obtained in front of some teams that last season had as objective the promotion, two of them, Turris and CS Mioveni evolving in the play-off for promotion.
On the other hand, “U” Cluj is one of the disappointments of this season. The “Red Hats” have only 6 points after the first four rounds, three of them being under the command of the new coach, Costel Enache, who takes the place of Adrian Falub who was fired after the debut below expectations.
In his first official match on the bench of “U”, Enache came out the winner, after a 3-1 on “Cluj Arena” with Unirea Slobozia stating at the end of the game that all he aims at “U” is to implement an “offensive mentality” to his team. “With all the risks, we have to take an offensive and aggressive side,” said the new Red Cap technician.
The Transylvanians have a revenge against the team of the Herea brothers, considering that last year Metaloglobus won in both confrontations against the “Red Caps”, 2-0 in Bucharest and 2-1 in Cluj.
