Granada and Villareal meet in a match in the 30th round of La Liga. The match will be played on Friday, at 18:30, at Estadio Nuevo Los Carmenes, without spectators.
There are two teams that are undefeated since the resumption of the La Liga season. Granada won at home with Getafe, score 2-1, success which was followed by a draw on the field of Betis Sevilla, score 2-2. The duel from the previous stage was a really dramatic one. Diego Martinez’s team led 1-0 in the 29th minute. Betis managed to turn the score around in the 85th and 88th minutes, for Granada to equalize in the extra time, through Roberto Soldado.
Villareal was the most pragmatic team since the resumption of the season. They won the last two stages with the same score, 1-0, at Celta Vigo and at home with Mallorca. The two victories came after a series of three defeats in a row in the championship.
The direct match played in this season’s round, even in the first stage, offered no less than 8 goals, the final score being 4-4. It is hard to believe that this time too there will be such a high number of goals scored. We expect at least two changes in the table, in a game that the hosts will not lose, Granada having the 5th best record in La Liga at home.
