GIRONA VS CELTA VIGO PREVIEW & PREDICTION
Tuesday evening, starting at 20:30, on Estadio Municipal de Montilivi, Girona, there is a confrontation between the local team and Celta Vigo.
Girona took only two points in the last six matches played away. On the ground, however, the Catalan team was excellent, winning the last four games. Getafe, Las Palmas, Athletic Bilbao and Leganes left Montilivi without signing up for those matches.
Celta Vigo has not achieved the desired results in the latest two shifts. After three games without victory, the Galician team managed to win over the weekend, which should have raised the morale of the players. Iago Aspas and Maxi Gomez hit again, reaching 29 goals this season.
The tournament was like a carousel. Celta opened the score in the 8th minute, Girona took the lead until the 14th minute, the hosts regained in the 16th minute, to take the lead a quarter of an hour before the final. The Catalans managed to score in the 86th minute. Given the evolution of the score in that match, the return also promises a show.
Despite the harsh defeat on Camp Nou, no special changes are expected in the home team’s home team.
Guests will not be able to rely on Gustavo Cabral, suspended for cardboard cumulation. Facundo Roncaglia and Sergi Gomez should form the defensive couple for this game.
Girona
Bono – Ramalho, Juanpe, Espinosa – Mojica, Granell, Pons, Maffeo – Garcia, Stuani, Portu
Celta Vigo
Blanco – Jonny, Gomez, Roncaglia, Mallo – Sisto, Lobotka, Radoja, Wass – Aspas, Gomez
Girona is a hard-to-beat team, especially on the ground. Celta Vigo has at its disposal a couple of strikers in great shape, Aspas and Gomez. The hosts have in Stuani and Portu their own players who can endanger the gates. We should have an interesting match between two teams that can aspire to a qualification in the Europa League. The two bands have the potential to find their way to the side of the net in this game.
PREDICTION: Both teams to score / YES @ 1.70
