Fulham vs Manchester Utd PREVIEW & PREDICTION 09/02/2019

Saturday, at 12:30, the 26th Premier League begins with the Fulham duel and Manchester United on the Craven Cottage. The guests are missing only Rojo, injured, and the “devils” continue to be unbeaten under the command of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Manchester United is on the 5th place (49-35 goals) and has hope for qualification in the next edition of the UEFA Champions League. It’s hard to say if white-reds prioritize the championship at this point, but Solskjaer comes with the full bout on a field that usually scores many goals. Fulham is on 19th place (25-55 golaveraj) and has by far the weakest defensive in the Premier League, especially in the Grandes duels.

United’s team looks very good under the command of the Norwegian interim. With 9 wins and a draw in 10 matches, Solskjaer is on schedule for all the trophies in the game. The players respond well to his recommendations, and the football provided by “devils” has been a high-quality attack in recent times.

And Fulham is going through changes, but the winter acquisition campaign was not spectacular, with the exception of bringing Ryan Babel to the top. The difference in quality between the two lots can not be called into question, and arguments for a victory of the guests exist. Even the defensive side of De Gea has gained a lot of confidence lately, and the white-reds certainly come with the mission of not getting a goal.

On the black and white bench, Claudio Ranieri knows how to prepare such heavyweight duels, but we expect a simple football practiced by the hosts. Fulham does not have big resources in the middle line and Pogba, Martial and Rashford’s possession can be a suicidal gun on his own.

Fulham comes after 4 defeats in the last 5 official games and is accustomed to receiving more goals than he scores. Mitrovic is Fulham’s goal scorer and will be the main concern of Solskjaer’s defender. United, on the other hand, comes after a long series of matches without defeat and the previous round has worked hard to win a Leicester win, score 1-0 (goal Rashford). Statistics show us that in 4 of the last 5 direct duels we scored at least 4 goals: 4-1, 2-2, 3-1, 1-0, 4-0. All the victories came to United, who has an excellent balance with Fulham.
