Everton vs Norwich PREVIEW & PREDICTION 23/11/2019

On Saturday, from 15:00 pm, Everton receives Norwich City’s visit to Goodison Park in a match in the 13th round of the Premier League. The hosts seem to be back in shape, with only one failure in the last four rounds, and the blue-whites are now 15th (goal 13-18). Norwich came in last place in England, having only two successes this season (goalkeeper 11-28) – one of them with Man. City!

Without Andre Gomes (out for the rest of the season), Martina, Delph and Tosun, Everton hopes to finally recover Brazilian Bernard, injured in the knee. Norwich cannot rely on the services of Drmic, Hanley, Klose, Lewis and Zimmermann, which complicates the mission of the “canaries”. Despite a brave start, Daniel Farke’s team failed to keep pace with the first few matches.

Everton have only one failure in the last four stages, a spectacular 2-3 with Brighton, as the “caramel” led 2-1 and inexplicably gave up the initiative. After that, Everton prevailed against Watford (2-0) in the League Cup, then drew with Tottenham (1-1) on their own. In the last weekend before the international break, Everton won 2-1 at Southampton, securing a great away victory.

Instead, Norwich have a single point accumulated in the last five stages, suffering failures with Villa (1-5), Man. United (1-3), Brighton (0-2) and Watford (0-2). Even with Finnish golfer Pukki in the first “11”, guests have low chances here.

Norwich won at Goodison Park on their last visit in 2016, when the “Canaries” won 2-0 in the English League Cup. It was the first success after a series of five consecutive matches in which Everton imposed their game and finished unbeaten in front of Norwich! In fact, it has been more than two decades since Norwich’s last victory over Merseyside in the championship. With Richarlison and Iwobi in good shape, Everton should dominate hostilities on their own ground, where statistics are on their side.

EVERTON PROBABLE TEAM – NORWICH:

Everton – Jordan Pickford, Djibril Sidibe, Yerry Mina, Mason Holgate, Lucas Digne, Tom Davies, Morgan Schneiderlin, Alex Iwobi, Theo Walcott, Gylfi Sigurdsson, Richarlison.

Norwich City – Tim Krul, Max Aarons, Alexander Tettey, Ben Godfrey, Jamaal Lewis, Emiliano Buendia, Kenny McClean, Marco Stiepermann, Onel Hernandez, Teemu Pukki, Tom Trybull.
