Espanyol vs Stjarnan PREVIEW & PREDICTION 25/07/2019

One of the most unbalanced duels scheduled in the Preliminary Round of the Europa League is that of Espanyol Barcelona and Icelanders from Stjarnan Gardabae.
The tour of the two bands is scheduled from 20:00 on RCDE Stadium in Barcelona on Thursday.

If Espanyol is actually going to make it to this Europa League edition, the Icelanders at Stjarnan have managed to qualify for the double ppe that supported the Levadia with the Estonians. After a 2-1 victory at home in the field, Icelanders succumbed to the same score in Estonia, ending with overtime. Here Levadia managed to get away from 3-1, but Stjarnan managed to score in the 120 + 2 pass by B. Gudjonsson in the 3-2 pass that put him in the lead.

Probable teams – Stjarnan

Espanyol, D. Lopez – A. Pedrosa, B. Espinosa, N. Pereira, J. Lopez – V. Sanchez, M. Roca, M. Vargas, O. Melendo, E. Granero – B. Iglesias
Coach: David Gallego

Stjarnan: Björnsson-Gudjsson, Laxdal, Jósefsson, Laxdal, Rauschenberg-Hauksson, Aegisson, Halldórsson-Hafsteinsson, Ragnarsson
Coach: Rúnar Páll Sigmundsson

The duel is no longer historic, just the difference Espanyol will face in front of its supporters at the first Europa League match after a 12-year break. The last Catalan presence in Europe was in the 2006-2007 season, when Espanyol stopped in the final, relegating last penalty to Sevilla in a duel on Hampden Park. Normally, given the value of the team that David Gallego has at his disposal, Espanyol should not miss the groups of this edition of the Europa League.

PREDICTION: Over 3,5 goals @ 1,88
