England U21 vs Romania U21 PREVIEW & PREDICTION 21/06/2019

On June 21, at 17:30, Romania U21 plays a very important match in England U21, in the second round of the European Youth Championship. In the first match of the group, the “tricolor” defeated Croatia (4-1), while the English lost dramatically to France (1-2), although they managed 1-0 in the 80th minute.

At Cesena, Mirel Radoi’s team would be pleased with the British, who are forced to win the duel. Romania showed excellent in front of Croatia, with a first “11” offensive, which marked Puscas, Hagi, Baluta or Ivan. England was lucky with the car in front of France, but still failed to avoid defeat. First, the “roosters” missed a penalty at the score of 0-0 when goalkeeper Henderson intervened sensationally.

England opened the score through Foden, but Choudhury’s criminal entry left the English in numerical inferiority and with a new penalty to manage. The British were once again protected from fate, because the French sent a second blow to the bar! Even though Henderson did wonders throughout the game, the band at Hexagon was the one who enjoyed the final. Even though Dembele and Aouar missed the limelight, Ikone brought the equalizer in the 89th minute, and the white-bikers felt the right time. France was attacked and won the final victory after Wan-Bissaka’s unfortunate autogol.

Romania entered with a superior morale in the second game, and football played by Mirel Radoi’s students gives hope for a good result. England is forced to attack, and although it has players of great value, it does not look like a group that makes “tricolori” tremble. We should see an animated game with success on both sides, because both players have offensive players on the ground. We bet on “GG”!
