Chelsea vs Leicester PREVIEW & PREDICTION 22/12/2018

Saturday, at 15:00, Chelsea receives Leicester’s visit to the stadium he defeated Bournemouth on Tuesday evening (1-0) in the quarter-finals of the League of England Cup. The physical wear of Maurizio Sarri’s pupils could say the word in the 18th round of the championship.

Chelsea dominated the dispute with Bournemouth, but needed the lucky goal scored by the Hazard reserve to qualify for the competition. Even though he has used some reserves, Sarri has given credit to many of the main players who will stay in the duel with Leicester, where the guests are no fresher. Claude Puel’s “Foxes” come after an exhausting match with Manchester City, lost to the penalty shootout, still in the League Cup quarterfinals. So there will be two bands that have made a lot of energy in the middle of the week.

Chelsea has a very good home series where he has not received a goal of 5 matches: 1-0 with Bournemouth, 2-0 with Manchester City, 2-0 with Fulham, 4-0 with PAOK and 0-0 with Everton are scores scored by Londoners, but Leicester has a good balance in this season’s trips. The “fox” defensive is quite accurate, especially if Maguire defends Schmeichel’s chips, and Leicester has lost only 4 out of 9 outings this season. Chelsea is unbeaten on Stamford Bridge this season but will have to work hard to get victory over the weekend.

It is true that the Londoners have not lost on their own 9 games against Leicester, and nine of the last 10 direct duels have been awarded by the band now coached by Maurizio Sarri. Even if the direct match balance does not favor, Leicester will come to a good defensive match, and Gray and Vardy’s counterattack may endanger the defensive record of the hosts. We will not count on many goals here because the last 8 games played by Leicester in the championship have had less than 3 successes and in 3 of the last 5 direct duels they have not scored both bands.

Chelsea is ranked 4th in the standings (35-14 golaver) and leads a heavy fight for qualifying in the UEFA Champions League, while Leicester is in 12th place (goal 21-21) and comes to Stamford Bridge with the batch almost complete excepting Amartey and Chilwell. Hosts are missing Morata.
