CFR Cluj vs Viitorul Constanta PREVIEW & PREDICTION 06/07/2019

On Saturday, June 6, at 18:00, the “Ilie Oana” stadium in Ploiesti will host the Romanian Supercup duel between the CFR Cluj champion and the Romanian Cup holder Viitorul Constanta.
Dan Petrescu’s team starts with the first chance at the trophy in this first official match which will open the football season 2019-2020 in Romania.

CFR Cluj champion moved well on the transfers market, Dan Petrescu bringing experienced players, the last tunnel being the registration of the international Mali, Yacouba Sylla, a soccer player who has CVs in the Premier League and Ligue 1 in the World Cup. Also “Bursucul” retained its core core and did not lose any of the stars with which it won the title last season, the stated goal being this year’s winning the championship and joining a European cup group.

On the other side, it is very interesting to see how the Future without the “motors” Tudor Băluţă will be expressed, transferred to Brighton and Ianis Hagi, “The King” announcing that the separation from his son is imminent. The two were the ones who gave the tone to the game of Dobrogeans, their names being largely related to the performances that Viitorul recorded in the previous season, placing them in 3rd place in play-off and winning the Romanian Cup.

It is also extremely interesting to see how the two bands will manage at the first official match of the season in which the rule of first-minute use of two Under 21 players becomes mandatory.
If for Viitorul this rule does not seem to be an impediment, Gică Hagi frequently using more U21 players, instead of CFR Cluj champion, this rule could be a big problem and one that would really give him big beats the head of Dan Petrescu. It would not be ruled out that the “Bursucul” wasting one of the changes from the beginning of the game and after only a few minutes of play, one of the U21 players would be replaced by a more experienced footballer, Petrescu having more solutions to this.

The champion has won 10 of the 20 matches played against the vicious in 2012 and so far. Dobrogeans have been awarded 7 games, while 3 duels have ended undecided.
In the last edition of League 1, the two teams split their regular season victories, each being forced into defeat, so that in CFR Cluj play-off to concede both confrontations.
