Friday evening, from 19:00, Cambuur and FC Volendam meet in the 21st stage of Eredivisie, in a very spectacular match. The party from Leeuwarden opposes two formations with claims of promotion in the first league, which have obtained excellent results in the last matches.
Cambuur is on the 1st place in Eerste Divisie, after 20 stages, with 14 active victories and goal scoring 48-16. With three points ahead of Jong Ajax and eight points over De Graafschap, the yellow-black band has excellent chances of promotion. Volendam is in 4th place (goal 37-30), with a good attack, but with a hesitant defense. In comparison, Volendam received more goals than the teams in the 5 places (Go Ahead Eagles – 24), 6 (NAC Breda – 21) or 9 (Nijmegen – 27). Even so, Volendam replaces insecurity in defense with the goals of Kaars (7) or Antonucci and Smal (5).
