Brighton vs Leicester PREVIEW & PREDICTION 24/11/2018

Brighton and Leicester meet in the 13th round of the Premier League on Saturday at “AmEx Stadium”. It is a balanced match, but Leicester has won the last two direct duels with “seagulls”, to which Florin Andone will again be reserve.

Brighton has a very interesting style when playing on its own. The game is very good for Chris Hughton’s students, who put pressure on the sides and know how to quickly counterattack. Leicester does not have a very reliable defensive, but it can be dangerous through Vardy’s and Demarai Gray’s “blasts,” which will certainly destabilize the defensive hosts at times. Brighton has a single home run this season and knows how to play well organized to leave as many opponents as possible.

Leicester won the last two straight duels.

Leicester is ranked 10th in the Premier League (17-16 goals), while Brighton is on 12th place (goal 13-18). “The Seagulls” come after two consecutive defeats, 1-2 in Cardiff (match Brighton played in numerical inferiority) and 1-3 at Everton, while Leicester failed to cross Burnley last round (0-0 ). The last two direct balls between Leicester and Brighton had the same outcome: the Midlands wins 2-0!

Brighton has scored 9 of its last 10 home games and we have good odds for bets on both sides and even the “over 2.5 goals” selection. Slightly inconsistent this season, Leicester has three consecutive non-defeat matches and good results have been linked to the tragedy that killed the Thai club’s patron in a helicopter crash. Leicester is a united group that plays out of passion, and this is also seen in linear results.

When he has a poor day, Leicester can easily grab a goal from any opponent and in the last 6 away he has 3 wins and 3 failures. We have to remark, however, that the “foxes” have scored in all the matches of this season played on foreign land!

Brighton is prolific on his own field, where he scored 8 of 13 staggered goals. We have to say that Leicester is the kind of team that opens only after the break, but Claude Puel’s students will try to break the game in the first half, because Brighton usually crowds the center of the court very well. There are some lot problems in both camps.

The hosts will not play Stephens, Gross, Jahanbakash and Propper, while Dutch striker Locadia is uncertain. Leicester will not enter Amatey and Matty James (long-term absence), but neither Maguire and Maddison, who have been recovered in time after severe injuries. A bet on “X Solist” could be very profitable in this tight duel, where little errors will eventually make the difference.

THE PROBABLE TEAMS

Brighton: M. Ryan – Montoya, Duffy, Dunk, Bong – Knockaert, Propper, Kayal, Izquierdo – S. March – G. Murray

Leicester: Schmeichel – R. Pereira, Morgan, Evans, Chilwell – Mendy, Ndidi – Albrighton, Ghezzal, D. Gray – Vardy

PREDICTION: Over 1.5 goals @ 1.40
