Bournemouth vs Tottenham PREVIEW & PREDICTION 04/05/2019

Saturday, at 12:30, the 37th Premier League is open to the duel between Bournemouth and Tottenham. Londoners pull out hard to secure their UEFA Champions League, in front of an unmotivated opponent in terms of ranking.

Spurs can secure fourth place with a victory on Dean Court, where Bournemouth has had a positive balance this season, in the club’s good tradition. Tottenham is in third place in the Premier League (goal 65-36) and lost two of the previous three stages, with a heavy schedule and “burden” in the UEFA Champions League.

In the middle of the week, Mauricio Pochettino’s team lost the UCL semifinals tournament, score 0-1 in front of Ajax Amsterdam, on their own ground. The result and performance do not leave the Londoners with great hopes, who need a much better game in the Netherlands. On the other hand, Tottenham’s weak play can be explained by the absence of base men in the attack, such as Kane, Son and Lamela.

Bournemouth is in 14th place (goal 52-65) and has secured his salvation from relegation last season in a draw with Southampton (3-3). Relaxation felt in the southern game, which comes after failures with Fulham (0-1), Burnley (1-3) or Leicester (0-2). With only one success in the previous six stages, Bournemouth was defeated in the Tottenham tour, score 0-5. The difference in value was perfectly illustrated by the Wembley match, and white-blue hopes to repeat performance on Saturday. Spurs comes after defeats at Ajax, West Ham and Manchester City, but will be 100% connected to the weekend’s stake. Bournemouth is vulnerable to the defensive and this may be reflected once again in the final result.

As usual, Mauricio Pochettino has trouble selecting, especially since we are on the season’s end and its owners have used the available resources. Alderweireld even injured Ajax (0-1), Vertonghen is uncertain and has 50% chance of being recovered in time to take his place in Spurs defensive.

The guests are definitely missing Aurier, Carter-Vickers, Kane, Lamela, Onomah, Nkoudou and Winks. The most important absence is the Harry Kane scorer, so in the London attack, Son and Moura will come up again with Llorente reserve. Neither Eddie Howe is relieved of injuries because he has medical problems with Cook, Daniels, Defoe, Francis, Mings, Pugh, Rico, Stanislas and Surman. We are looking forward to a better and more motivated team success.

The probable teams at BOURNEMOUTH – TOTTENHAM

Bournemouth: Boruc – Clyne, S. Cook, Simpson, Ake – Brooks, Gosling, Lerma, Fraser – King, Wilson

Tottenham: Lloris – Foyth, D. Sanchez, Alderweireld, Davies – Sissoko, Dier, Eriksen – Alli – Son, Moura

PREDICTION: Tottenham to win @ 1,92
