Betis vs Dudelange PREVIEW & PREDICTION 04/10/2018

The tension is to cut in group F of the Europa League, where AC Milan, Olympiacos and Real Betis compete for the two tickets that entitle to European wintering. It is therefore crucial to endure the duels against football Dudelange without any problems.

Real Betis:

Upcoming Thursday will be a memorable evening for the support of Real Betis, because the home game against Dudelange marks the first European duel in the Benito Villamarin since the painful elimination against fellow townsman Sevilla five years ago. Two weeks ago the Spaniards got a point on Greek soil by keeping Olympiacos on a goalless draw. With a victory over Dudelange, the team takes a big step towards European wintering.

It is not that far, however, despite Real Betis playing the best football in Spain at times. Last weekend the green-wits in their own field against Leganes had no less than 82.51 percent (!) Possession. Even FC Barcelona under Pep Guardiola never managed to get close to such figures. What matters, however, is what you do with that ball, and frankly that is relatively little. Despite the immense predominance of last weekend, the Andalusians did not get any further than just a goal from attacker Loren Moron, which fortunately turned out to be enough for the victory. The lack of efficiency for the goal, however, is the Achilles heel of Real Betis all season. That is the main reason why trainer Quique Setien does not count himself rich at all: ‘Dudelange comes from a small league, but in the preliminaries it managed to eliminate Legia Warsaw, among other things. We take this race very seriously. ‘

Dudelange:

For Dudelange this is pure enjoyment. Playing in a packed Benito Villamarin is an experience that until recently the Luxembourg semi-pros could only dream of. The German coach Dino Toppmöller will have no trouble motivating his team.

Dudelange is of course a football throw pure sang, but in the first group match the Luxembourgers certainly did not show up. In the tiny Stade Jos Nosbaum the big AC Milan had to change direction from Gonzalo Higuain to escape with a short 0-1 victory. So Dudelange managed to keep it surprisingly exciting until the end, although I must honestly say that the Italians were clearly a bit too big and that the Luxembourgers barely crossed the middle line. However, that is absolutely no shame.

PREDICTION: Over 2.5 goals @ 1.48
