On Wednesday, starting at 18:00, BATE Borisov – HJK Helsinki, will be disputed in the preliminaries of the Champions League.
The two bands met once in history. They played a friendly match in March 2012, ending with a score of 1-1.
BATE Borisov is the leader in the Vysshaya League in Belarus with a total of 44 points cumulated in the first 17 stages. The difference between BATE and the occupying season is 7 points, the Belarusian champion not having a rival in domestic competitions. This can only be an ominous one, relying on the premise that much stronger opponents can mobilize you better. However, we must emphasize the “yellow-blue” force in front of their supporters, where BATE has only scored 3 goals in the last 9 championship games!
On the other hand, HJK has many things in common with BATE Borisov. Among other things, the Helsinki team is also the leader in the domestic championship, the competition being almost null. However, as opposed to whites, HJK is a “all-or-nothing” team, which takes more of the gate action that could leave free space in the defensive. In this sense, we expect the host team to score at least once.
PREDICTION: BATE to win @ 1.55
