The last direct confrontation between the two major rivals was played in October 2018 in the tour of the current La Liga edition. Rafinha and Samuel Umtiti are injured and will not be present on the field in this duel, while Jordi Alba is suspended.
Though nothing announces such a series, Real has managed to regroup after a rather disappointing period, and in this game it is presented after 5 consecutive wins, the last being won in La Liga, 3-0 in front of Leganes, Santiago Bernabeu.
