Monday night at 3:00 PM, Aston Villa and Derby County meet in the Championship final of Championship, the English second league. The winning team will promote in the Premier League and will receive a substantial financial award from the Federation. It is worth mentioning, however, that four of the last five play-off winners have returned to the second league for the first season after promotion – but that will not affect the rivals on Monday night.
Although victory favors, Aston Villa could accuse additional psychological fatigue after making the WBA semifinals effortlessly. Derby produced surprise to Leeds United and has great confidence in his own skills, Frank Lampard having the opportunity to return to the Premier League as manager. Obviously, there is plenty of talent in both batches, but from an offensive point of view, the band in Birmingham seems to be superior. With a goal in each of the previous three duels with bulls, Nordic people need a perfect performance to control the offensive appetite of their favorites.
