Arsenal vs Brighton PREVIEW & PREDICTION 05/05/2019

On Sunday, at 16:30, Arsenal receives Brighton‘s 37th-day Premier League match in a match with potential for both sides. “Tunarii” hopes to secure a seat in the next edition of the UEFA Champions League, while “seagulls” still have one step to rescue from relegation. Florin Andone announced the reserve on Emirates.

Arsenal comes after a victory in the UEFA Europa League semifinals, 3-1 in front of Valencia, on his own. The “Tuners” played well off the offensive, but they showed vulnerabilities in the defensive, in front of a team without a lethal tip. Brighton has Murray and Andone as finishers, but the construction of Chris Hughton’s team is having a hard time this season. Brighton is a team that relies rather on aggression and organization, rarely achieving favorable results with grandees. However, the share of Arsenal‘s victory is on the rise for reasons that can be anticipated.

The Londoners have bumble-blamed problems and come to Brighton, who knows that any goal scored away can save him. Unai Emery will have to rotate in the first 11 of the white and red, and major players are missing because of the injuries: Bellerin, Holding, Suarez, Welbeck and Koscielny, plus the Maitland-Niles suspension. So Arsenal will have an improvised startup team, and Lacazette or Aubameyang might be a reserve. If the two of them start again as titulars, the balance would be greatly in favor of Arsenal, who lost the last three rounds played! Leicester’s (0-3), Wolverhampton (1-3) and Crystal Palace (2-3) almost compromised his chances of winning the top 4, and Londoners are now ranked fifth (69-49) at two quartet points.

Brighton is ranked 17th (33-55 golaver) and has four points ahead of Cardiff, the first team below the relegation line. If Cardiff does not face Crystal Palace in the weekend, then Florin Andone’s team will be officially dropped by the second league. So there is an important stake for both bands, which amplifies the feeling that we will witness a spectacular and disputed match where hosts do not allow a wrong move. If he misses his Top 4 presence, Arsenal will have to rely on the UEFA Europa League conquest to see UCL participation in the coming season. Selection issues could give Unai Emery big headaches in what he calls a balanced match.
