Apollon vs PSV PREVIEW & PREDICTION 29/08/2019

On Thursday evening, from 18:00 pm, Apollon Limassol clashes with PSV Eindhoven in the second leg of the UEFA Europa League play-off, after the Dutch won 3-0 at home. The clear difference in value came off the ramp last week, and qualification calculations can hardly be reversed.

Without Pereiro, Lammers, Thomas, Unnerstall and Van Osch, PSV has to complete a return formality in Cyprus, but the red-and-white team is not yet at the top level. However, the Dutch giant has raised the level in recent weeks, in which it has prevailed against teams such as Haugesund (1-0), Den Haag (3-1), Heracles (2-0) and Apollon (3-0). Without being used too seriously, the team from Eindhoven reached a single step of qualifying in the UEL groups.

Apollon has not yet started the domestic competition, but he has done very well in front of teams like Shamrock Rovers and Austria Vienna, which were eliminated during the course. We believe that we will attend an open match in Cyprus, because the hosts are forced to come out to play, in order to have a hope of returning to the qualifying fate. PSV is a mature team with a high quality team that can handle the pressure and can hit the counterattack dangerously.

PREDICTION: PSV to win @ 2,10
