On Friday, August 9, from 4:00 pm on the “Anghel Iordănescu” stadium in Voluntari, the Clinceni Academy will receive the visit of the Chindia Târgoviște band.
The duel that will open the fifth round of League I takes the two newly promoted to the last two places of the standings. The Clinceni academy is after four rounds the “lantern” of the championship being the only formation in Liga 1 without accumulated points and a goalkeeper of 5-13.
On the other side, Chindia Târgoviște can “boast” with a point in four stages, the one obtained even in the first round in the duel from Mediaș with Gaz Metan, where he returned from 2-0, the duel ending 2-2. With a point in the standings and a 3-8 goal, Chindia is 13th in Liga 1.
Last season, Chindia won both duels with Academica, with the same score, 1-0, both in Targoviste and Clinceni, the matches being conspicuously consumed in the country’s second football ranks. In fact, the Togoviestans have a moral ascendancy in the duels with Clinceni, winning all the 6 duels sustained in the second league, the goalkeeper being favorable to the students of Viorel Moldova by 10-1!
The two newly promoted felt the impact with Liga 1.
