Real Madrid vs Alaves PREVIEW & PREDICTION 28/11/2020

Real Madrid and Deportivo Alaves meet in a match in the 11th round of La Liga. The match will be played on Saturday, from 20:00, on Alfredo di Stefano Stadium.

After a modest start in the Champions League, the “Galactics” recovered and won the last two games, both being played against Inter Milan, 3-2 at home and 2-0 away. Regarding the course of the championship, Real occupies the 4th position, being six points behind the leader, having a less disputed match. The last two stages gave headaches to Zinedine Zidane’s students, who were humiliated in Valencia (1-4), while in the trip from Villarreal they obtained only one point (1-1).

Alaves had a weak start to the season, with only one point won in the first four stages. However, Pablo Machin’s band has looked pretty good lately. Deportivo comes to the match with Real after four stages in a row without failure, the last three being concluded with equal results, at home with Barcelona and Valencia and away to Levante.

Real Madrid is currently forced to win without two basic pieces, Karim Benzema, the team’s top scorer, and Sergio Ramos, the Madrid captain. Being at a distance of six points from the leader, Real no longer allows wrong steps, especially in front of teams like Alaves. We rely on the victory of the “galactics”, but also on a maximum of five changes to the table.

The two bands have met 20 times so far;
Real leads this chapter with 16 victories and only two defeats;
The “Galactics” prevailed in nine of the ten direct confrontations in Madrid (a failure), and in the last five, Alaves failed to score;
Real have scored at least three times in eight of Madrid’s ten direct duels;

Real Madrid: Courtois – Carvajal, Nacho, Varane, Marcelo – Casemiro, Kroos – Rodrygo, Asensio, Hazard – Mariano;
Absent: Federico Valverde, Sergio Ramos, Eder Militao, Luka Jovic (injured);
Coach: Zinedine Zidane;

Alaves: Pacheco – Navarro, Lejeune, Laguardia, Duarte – Mendez, Pina, Battaglia, Jota – Perez, Joselu;
