FC „U” Craiova – Ripensia Timișoara will take place on Wednesday from 17:30 at Turnu Severin, the match being a backlog from the first stage of this competitive season of the 2nd League.
The duel from Severin should have been played at the start of this edition of the 2nd League but the match scheduled in the first stage was canceled due to the coronavirus, which hit the group of FC “U” Craiova. Meanwhile, the Oltenians solved their problems and made their debut in the championship, managing a lucky draw at Miercurea Ciuc with Csikszereda, score 1-1, Marian Anghelina avoiding defeat with a goal scored in the fourth minute of extra time in a game in which the hosts led from the 12th minute thanks to a success signed by Juan Bauza.

On the other hand, for Ripensia Timișoara, the duel from Severin will represent the start in the new edition of League 2, the people from Banat being in the second round. In the two friendly matches they held before the championship debut, Ripensia won 4-1 in the duel with the Lipova Falcons and ended in a draw, 2-2 in the duel with ASU Poli Timișoara.
