Buducnost (Mne) vs Ludogorets (Bul) PREVIEW & PREDICTION 19/08/2020

On Wednesday, starting with 19:00, the Buducnost – Ludogorets match will be played, within the preliminaries of the Champions League, first round. The two teams have never met before in European competitions. If Buducnost has never passed the second preliminary round, Ludogorets has two appearances in the Champions League groups, in the 2014/2015 and 2016/2017 seasons.

Buducnost has won Montenegro’s fourth title, so it will once again play in the Champions League preliminaries. The “white-blues” never passed the second preliminary round, and now they will have a very strong opponent from the first match. Buducnost played in the Europa League last season, where they were eliminated in the second round by the Ukrainians Zorya Lugansk, after a 3-2 defeat overall.

Ludogorets has 9 titles of champion of Bulgaria in the last 10 years, establishing a real monopoly on Bulgarian football. The group where the Romanians Claudiu Keseru, Cosmin Moti and Dragos Grigore are legitimated has 6 present in the groups of the continental European competitions, of which two in the Champions League. In 2019/2020, Ludogorets reached the last 16 of the Europa League, where they lost a double inning with Inter Milan, score 1-4 overall.

Ludogorets benefits from a major advantage in terms of experience, but also value. If Buducnost relies almost entirely on Montenegrin and Serbian players, the Bulgarian team has no less than 16 foreigners.

The “white-blues” did not pass the second preliminary round of the Champions League;
Ludogorets won 9 Bulgarian championship titles;
