St Johnstone vs Aberdeen PREVIEW & PREDICTION 08/08/2020

Saturday, from 12:30, St. Johnstone receives a visit from Aberdeen in the 2nd round of the Scottish Premier League. O’Halloran will not be able to play from the hosts, suspended, while the white-reds cannot count on Considine and Wright. Aberdeen has its first chance at betting, at the weekend match, but it will not be an easy game.

The match at McDiarmid Park promises to be very balanced, and Aberdeen will work hard to score in front of the white-blues. St. Johnstone is a strong rival on his own field, having recently played in European cups, while Aberdenn does not excel offensively. In the first round, the white-reds lost at home, with Glasgow Rangers, in a game that “ran” in one direction.

Aberdeen was dominated by Ianis Hagi’s team, in a match dominated quite authoritatively by favorites. In the end, Aberdeen failed to shoot a shot on goal and executed only two corners, which says it all about the game. St. Johnstone drew with Dundee United in the first match of the season, score 1-1, his goal being scored by Craig (’55). It is an even more important result as the Perth team played inferior in the 45th minute.

Two of the last three direct duels ended in a draw, score 1-1;
St. Johnstone won 1-0 last straight away match with Aberdeen away (goal McCann);
Less than three goals have been scored in the last six consecutive direct duels;
In 5 of the last 6 matches of St. Johnstone scored less than three goals;
St. Johnstone has lost only one official match in the last 11 games;

PREDICTION: Both teams to score / NO @ 1,73
