On the “Ilie Oană” stadium in Ploiești, on Sunday from 14:00 pm there will be the confrontation of the newly promoted Chindia Târgoviște – Clinceni Academy.
The two formations are separated in the ranking by only two points. The team prepared by Viorel Moldovan was at the start of this round on 10th place with 17 points while Academia Clinceni ranked 12th with 15 points.
Chindia does not go through the best period having a series of five consecutive matches without victory in the championship, suffering three defeats and ticking two draws. The last success of the Târgovişti players in Liga 1 was achieved at the beginning of October on the field of “lantern”, FC Voluntari, score 1-0.
On the other side, neither Clinceni Academy has impressed lately with only one victory in the last seven games held in Liga 1, the one on their own field with Poli Iași, score 1-0. Clinceniul did not feel very good being the six defeats suffered in eight games, Ilie Poenaru’s team boasting this season on the opposing field only with a draw at Botosani, score 2-2 and a victory at Voluntari, score 1 -0.
