Charleroi vs Anderlecht PREVIEW & PREDICTION 4/10/2019

Charleroi awaits the staggering record champion from Anderlecht! The Zebras reached a 1-1 draw at Standard Liège and play a solid season. The situation with the kickers from Brussels looks quite different: Only one win was won in the first nine rounds of the game.

The recent embarrassing number zero against the table penultimate Waasland-Beveren was for a part of the fanbase finally a disappointment too much and it came to angry protests in front of the lottery park. So the RSC is in a real crisis. There is not much chance of a speedy recovery.

The squad is weak and important players are currently on sick leave. The Walloon host, in turn, can be very pleased with the recent draw in Liège. The traditionally strong home standard previously had no fewer than seven consecutive victories in season.

In Charleroi against Anderlecht, the tip includes the double chance of the hosts and a hit on both sides. The Zebras have proven their strength with victories against Genk and Antwerp several times this season.

At the same time the defensive is always vulnerable and after a long time at Anderlecht is finally the new signing in the form of Kemar Roofe available, which is why the personnel situation has improved in the attack at least a little. The Charleroi vs Anderlecht forecast is linked to three units use.

Charleroi:

Although the last home game of Charleroi was lost 0-3 against VV St. Truiden, can the previous year’s ninth, as already mentioned a decent home strength certified. The surprise as well as undeserved defeat two weeks ago was an exception.

The match was dominated by the Carolos, but this time the otherwise unerring offensive did not work. It was the first home defeat after six consecutive seasonal victories and a draw – which clearly proves the home strength that exists.

In addition, the other guests were not patrons this season. The champions from Genk, Antwerp and KAA Gent were all teams from the top third of the table. Only the buffaloes from Ghent could take a counter.

The setback against the canaries was also well put away. This was proven by the subsequent victory in the domestic Cup against the third division Boom and the aforementioned 1-1 in the Liège fortress called Maurice Dufrasne Stadium. In the match on the Maas, however, midfielder Marco Ilaimaharitra saw the yellow-red card shortly before the final whistle.

The player from Madagascar gave his homeland his first African Cup victory in the summer after beating Burundi. In the zebras Ilaimaharitra also plays a major role, which is why his lock unquestionably represents a weakening.

Anderlecht:

The Violets drew hope about a month ago when they beat Lüttich 1-0 in the Belgian club Clasico. It was the first three of the season, but the spark of hope has long gone out.

Defeats against Antwerp and Bruges have made it clear that a sustained upward trend can not be determined. A playful low was reached last weekend: With a 0: 0 parted the RSC of Waasland-Beveren.

The opponent has not won a match as the only representative in the Jupiler League and is certainly one of the weakest teams in the Belgian House of Lords. The sporting crash of the Brussels began already in the last season, in which for the first time since the season 1963/64, the qualification for a European competition was missed.

The installation of Vincent Kompany as a player-coach does not work yet, whereby the returning son of the club meets only a partial guilt. The squad is weak and decimated by failures like top striker Nany Landry Dimata.

After all, Kemar Roofe, an important attacker, returned to the squad last weekend. The 26-year-old Brit made his first league appearance for Anderlecht following his move from Leeds United, but Roofe’s long injury break was still evident on his appearance.

Given the recent results of the kicker from the Brussels district can be understood why at Charleroi against Anderlecht, the odds at least slightly point towards a home victory.
