On Sunday at 19:00, on the stadium “Ion Oblemenco”, the University of Craiova will receive the visit of the FCSB team, in a match that will count for the 9th stage of League 1.
The atmosphere in the stands at the start of Victor Piţurcă on the bench of the Oltenians is announced to be a crazy one, considering that the derby will be played with the “closed house”, all tickets being sold out.
In fact, the former coach also promised the fans at his official presentation the three points in the duel with the Romanian champion, guaranteeing that those who will enter the field will give everything so as not to disappoint the demanding supporters of the white-blue.
Both the University of Craiova and the FCSB come after the victories, winning the matches they have supported before the break caused by the actions of the national groups. The Oltenians won 2-1 at Volunteers, while FCSB got a surprising 2-1 victory over the Future in a match in which the Gică Hagi students disappointed at all the chapters although they started as favorites.
After the first eight rounds, the University of Craiova is on the 3rd place with 16 points, at two lengths of Gaz Metan Mediaş. Instead, FCSB is only 11th, with seven points, four points from the play-off area.
