Netherlands W vs Cameroon W PREVIEW & PREDICTION 15/06/2019

This match seems to me more dangerous for the current Dutch champions of Europe than the houses think, according to what we are seeing in the championship.

Leaving aside the Americans’ brutality in the 13-0 over Thailand, most of the tournament’s encounters are paying off with more adjusted results than expected, between the favorite and the theoretical “victim”.

Without going any further in the 1st round of this Group E the European champions could only win 1-0 to New Zealand. While Canada, runner-up of the CONCACAF Cup against the Americans, could only win 1-0 to Cameroon.

We already saw in the first day what it cost Spain to overcome in its debut against South Africa, in which South Africa began advancing and the Spaniards could only consummate the comeback with the downturn of the South Africans in the last section of the match.

The South Africans are here as 2nd classified in the African Cup and Cameroon as 3rd. But beware that Cameroon reached against all odds the 8th final place in the last World Cup in Canada, which debuted.

Although there is room for the best African teams to catch up with the leading players in Europe, but my impression is that they are raising the level tactically and technically, and no longer face these games as comparsas.

There is the 2-0 of Nigeria in the 2nd round of Group A against South Korea, although the South Koreans came with the last repechage ticket of the Asian zone.

Holland, let’s not fool ourselves. Although it has great players who lead it as Lieke Martens, Shanice van de Sanden and Vivianne Miedema, but from those 3 the level goes down a bit. They do not have a front-line 11 in all positions like USA, Japan or Germany.
In fact after winning the European Championship last season the results have not been as expected, and for example in the prestigious Algarve Cup in February lost 2-0 to the Spanish.

In this World Cup they have not achieved a direct ticket like for example Spain, but had to go Holland to play the play-off against Switzerland (3-0 in the Netherlands in the first leg and 1-1 in Switzerland in the return).

PREDICTION: Over 2,5 goals @ 1,64
