Chelsea vs Wolves PREVIEW & PREDICTION 10/03/2019

Chelsea comes after a match in the UEFA Europa League, against Dinamo Kiev, but has a knife in the match with Wolverhampton, in the 30th round of the Premier League. The Londoners are in good shape internally and Maurizio Sarri says he would like to stay in office next season, despite the rumors that make him leave Stamford Bridge. The game takes place on Sunday, at 14:05.

Chelsea is on the 6th place and almost lost contact with the Champions League area after two failures in the last five stages. However, England’s top fight is balanced and anyone can make the wrong moves, so the Londoners still hope they will be over Arsenal and Manchester United in front of them. Wolverhampton is on the 7th place (37-35 golaver) and has proved to be the most consistent team this season, except for the grandmothers. Nuno Espirito Santo’s band has exceeded all expectations of Championship promotion, and Midlands “wolves” have lost a single match in the last 5 in the championship.

If Chelsea comes after success with Fulham (2-1) and Tottenham (2-0), Wolverhampton boasts zero wins against Cardiff (2-0) and West Ham (3-0) won on merit in Newcastle (1-1) and Bournemouth (1-1). Nuno Santo’s band is very hard to beat because he has a high-level defense with Coady, Bennett and Boly. The Londoners attack Hazard, Willian and Higuain, but that does not mean that they will easily pass through the “wolves” defending the organization of the game. Wolves also won the Chelsea tournament, 2-1 on his own, and hoped for another surprise.

On his own, Chelsea has 9 wins and 4 draws in 14 stages, receiving only 9 goals on Stamford Bridge (only Liverpool has earned fewer goals). Wolverhampton is a counterattack and shots specialist, managing to win 5 wins and 4 draws in 14 games away from Molineux. Raul Jimenez will again be dangerous in Wolverhampton’s attack, which also has the benefit of freshness. Even though the white-blues have used more reserves in the Dinamo Kiev duel, the physical and psychical load will impress Maurizio Sarri’s band, so we expect a very balanced match on Sunday.

CHELSEA TEAMS – WOLVERHMAPTON:

Chelsea: Kepa – Azpilicueta, Rudiger, Luiz, Alonso – Kante, Jorginho, Barkley – Willian, Higuain, Hazard

Wolverhampton: Rui Patricio – Saiss, Coady, Boly – Doherty, Dendoncker, R. Neves, Moutinho, Jonny – Raul Jimenez, Diogo Jota

PREDICTION: Chelsea to win @ 1,57
