West Brom vs Brighton PREVIEW & PREDICTION 06/02/2019

Wednesday evening, at 20:05, West Bromwich Albion and Brighton & Hove Albion disputed the retreat of England Cup 4, after the first match ended 0-0. This time, in Brighton’s camp we could watch him as the title holder on the novel, Florin Andone.

It’s an interesting match because WBA has played well this season and, with the help of class players such as Gibbs, Rodriguez, Phillips or Gayle, beats the gates of returning to the Premier League. For the WBA, promotion is more important than the Cup, but Brighton has not found the way to goal in the first match. Even so, Chris Hughton’s “seagulls” are favorites to qualify and have a generous victory.

West Brom is an offensive team, but has put much emphasis on defense lately. However, the weekend brought a modest result for the band near Birmingham: 2-3 home with Middlesbrough, in a very hot promotional derby, decided by Assombalonga’s “double”. Prior to this game, WBA had successes with Bolton (2-0) and Wigan (1-0) but also draws with Norwich (1-1) or Sheffield Wednesday (1-1). Brighton was at a quiet moment in the Premier League, but Andone’s team began to tremble with the thought of relegation. Without winning 6 matches, white-and-blue come in a 0-0 home match against Watford, in a slightly more spectacular match than the final white score.

Overall, Brighton seems to be losing speed and showed modest failure in Fulham (2-4, after 2-0) and in the draw with the WBA. To these results are added the defeats with Manchester United (1-2) and Liverpool (0-1), which have affected the confidence in the club. Thinking more about the Premier League fight, Chris Hughton will use more reserves in front of WBA, who lost the last direct match last season, scoring 0-2. Both bands seem rather concerned about the championship course and it is hard to choose the winner, but if the score is quickly opened, then our bets are good! Brighton does not usually impress in away games and hosts can take advantage.

PREDICTION: Under 2,5 goals @ 1.71
