On Sunday, at 14:30, Hearts of Middlothian receives Livingston’s visit in the 16th Cup finals of the Scottish Cup, and the qualification quote will surely guide the two bands to a cautious game, at least in the first half. We have chosen a bet that offers a generous share!
Hearts went well over the ugly failures suffered in the championship, including a drastic 0-5 on Livingston’s field. In the last two stages, Hearts managed to score zero against Hamilton (2-0) and Hibernian (1-0), the latter being an important success in a regional derby. However, it remains the benchmark with Livingston in which the yellow-blacks have been training with the Sunday rival, marking all the goals after the 72th minute! They then enrolled Halkett, Menga, Hardie (2) and Byrne, taking full advantage of eliminating Djoum (74).
In that match, Livingston pulled 13 times at the gate and 6 times executed, thus managing to score almost every attempt. Hearts did not manage to send a shot at the goal and finished the match in the knee, with only one corner and 47% possession. That was the last victory for Livingston in an official match, and since then three less successful home games have been played: 1-1 with Hibernian, 0-0 with Dundee and 1-2 with Aberdeen on their own.
Without being exuberant in the attack, the two bands played four games in the last three years, and each time a single team or none was scored. Livingston won the last 5-0, but Hearts had 1-0 in two away games, both on the move and on the ground. In 2018 there was also a white draw, on the white field. Hearts is ranked fifth (26-26), while Livingston is on 7th place (26-19) and has the third defensive value in the first Scottish league.
PREDICTION: Hearts to win @ 1.82
