On Wednesday, starting at 14:30, CS Mioveni – Sepsi will play, within the finals of the Romanian Cup final, 2018-2019 edition.
In the 2016-2017 season of the second league, CS Mioveni won 2-0 on their own field, drawing in Sfantu-Gheorghe, score 1-1.
The hosts ranked seventh in the ranking of the second echelon in Romania, with 26 points. CS Mioveni is a well-known “home” force, managing 6 wins, 1 draw and only 1 defeat in the eight games played on the “Orasenesc Stadion”. Valentin Balint, the former striker of the Dinamo Bucharest, is the best marker of the Pitesti, with 5 successes this season.
Sepsi Sfantu-Gheorghe is ranked 7th in League One, the first to play-out with 19 points. Eugen Neagoe’s “White-Red” have a very good track record this season, getting three home games, and they have gone all the way 2 times. Sepsi’s lot is “sprinkled” by foreign players in the last round against CFR Cluj, with only 3 Romanian players in the first 11.
Pitestenii will be hard to beat in Mioveni, and Sepsi is very much dependent on which band will align Eugen Neagoe. The guests have shown weaknesses in the defensive in the last period and we believe that CS Mioveni will be able to score at least once.
