Chelsea vs BATE PREVIEW & PREDICTION 25/10/2018

Thursday evening, at 20:00, Chelsea receives BATE Borisov’s visit to the third round of the UEFA Europa League. An unbalanced match is announced even though Maurizio Sarri will not rely on Eden Hazard (slightly injured) and will rest several players in the match with Manchester United (2-2).

It is one of the most unbalanced disputes of the evening and the first of the two bands. BATE Borisov has no good memories of duels with English teams after losing to Arsenal, 0-6 and 2-4 in last year’s Europa League. Olivier Giroud, now at Chelsea, scored in both the “Gunners” victories and is announced Thursday night. Other main players, such as Alonso or Willian, could sit on the bench, but Maurizio Sarri said he does not neglect the game and wants to secure the qualification in the next phase as quickly as possible. Chelsea will want to close the BATE accounts quickly, with a difficult weekend match in the Burnley championship.

BATE Borisov is strong on his own ground.

Normally, if the Londoners will be able to open the score before the break, victory should be available. Chelsea has been remarkable this season with an effective possession game, and Sarri’s reserves are ready to get to the ramp to persuade the manager that he deserves to play. Statistically, the Londoners have all the strengths on their side: they have not lost their own land since 2013 (1-2 with Basel) and have 7 wins and 3 draws in the last 10 games played at home against clubs coming from weaker value points. In 6 out of seven wins, success has been outlined since the break, a result that we could see once again.

Gambling will be hosted in the Europa League.

BATE Borisov has 3 wins in the 4 European Championship this season, but rivals have been of modest quality and we already know that the Belarusians will come to England to play a 100% defensive game. Chelsea won 1-0 both L games against PAOK Thessaloniki and Vidi. Instead, BATE comes after a 1-4 with PAOK and a 2-0 in Hungary on Mol Vidi’s field. The game of the Belarusians is not brilliant and relies rather on physical force and teamwork. Against Chelsea, however, you need footballers who can make the difference in the one-to-one duels, because the organization of the white-blue game is almost impeccable.

BATE Borisov does not have a good enough defense to resist Stamford Bridge, where guests come without Malkevich and Mukhamedov. The hosts are missing only Ampadu and Hazard (rescued from back pain). BATE received a goal in each of his last four games and anything else except a clear success of his favorites would be a huge surprise. We’re losing Chelsea, who comes after a lucky 2-2 win in the championship, where he needed an equalizing goal in overtime with Man. United.

PREDICTION: Over 2.5 goals @ 1.44
